Grand Lodge of Panama
The Grand Lodge of Panama was founded April 16, 1917 and ever since has been a thriving Masonic institution in the community.

Several Lodges were the original signers of the new Grand Lodge, even though some of them cease to exist merging with older ones, it is worth mentioning that Unity Lodge No. 7 was one of them, before becoming extinct its members along with other Master Masons from the Caribbean Islands residing in Panama, most of them members of lodges under the Constitution of the United Grand Lodge of England decided to request a Dispensation Charter, once issued, they started meeting in February of that year aiming to get the charter for the first lodge under the Constitution of the Grand Lodge of Panama. Their dedication rendered a charter issued eleven and a half months after the formation of the Grand Lodge. On March 31st, 1917 Pacific Lodge No. 5 became the first lodge to be consecrated by the new Grand Lodge. Over 100 years it has had its ups and downs still surviving is a well respected and innovative lodge.
